NHS trial shows AI-powered test detects COVID-19 in 10 minutes

Ancon Technologies has run a successful clinical trial to detect COVID-19 at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation using its CoVBreath rapid breath test. Unique COVID-19 associated biomarker signatures were detected with over 90% accuracy in under 10 minutes, based on samples from 300 participants. Ancon considers these results present a conclusive case for immediately commencing validation trials. This would enable CoVBreath testing and screening for COVID-19 to be undertaken easily and in almost any situation, including hospitals, schools, workplaces, hospitality, airports and border controls.
